I was a founding partner at Aerwulf Asset Management. AAM was a "carve out" from Interlachen Capital Group, comprised primarily of the Fundamental Value team from ICG. Aerwulf focused on relative value across the corporate capital structure, seeking to exploit opportunities in the equity, high grade/high yield debt and distressed spaces. I served as Chief Risk Officer for the various portfolios, as well as managing the settlement and clearing operations.

I was a founding partner at ICG. I co-managed the liquid interest rate portfolio with a long time colleague from NationsBank/KeyCorp/EBF. We focused on relative value strategies across the global, liquid high grade rates space. We utilized an extensive "toolkit" of fixed income instruments to express these trades. This "toolkit" included asset swaps, conditional curve/spread trades expressed through swaptions, Municipal Bond TOBs/TRR swaps, CMM swaps, CMBS/CMBX and directional views expressed with option spreads. I also sat on the risk management committee and was extensively involved in developing a scenario analysis tool which we utilized for "stress testing" the firm wide portfolio.

EBF was a large, Convertible Arbitrage and Volatility Fund. I worked as a portfolio manager for the desk which focused on relative value in the liquid, high grade fixed income space. We traded sovereign asset-swaps across a number of regions and also focused extensively on "conditional curve" trades through swaptions. I was also involved with trading and managing a Municipal Bond TOB book.

I served as Co-Manager of the Interest Rate Derivative Book for the Bank Portfolio. We focused on hedging the overall Asset/Liability posture of the bank, utilizing Swaps, Caps, Swaptions, Basis Swaps and Structured Repo. We also constructed and managed a "pipeline" hedging program for the CMBS structured issuance which KeyCorp was involved in.

I "built out", staffed and managed a proprietary interest rate option desk. We focused on trading relative value between the listed and OTC sovereign option markets within the U.S. and Eurozone regions.

I worked as a proprietary trader for a large, multi-currency interest rate derivative book. We managed a 24 hour desk which focused on spread opportunities between various interest rate derivative markets. We focused primarily on option relative value in the U.S. and European OTC Sovereign, Swaption, and Listed Sovereign spaces. I also took the lead with respect to managing "the Greeks" of the portfolio.

I acted as a currency option market maker for a 24 hour global derivatives desk. Though I spent time trading each time zone ( Tokyo, London and New York), I eventually managed the "London Shift" and focused primarily on Eurozone currency pairs versus the U.S. Dollar. In addition to market making, I was also involved in managing a relative value volatility book. This portfolio focused on volatility spread trades both within and between currency pairs.

I worked as a market maker and portfolio manager for the TBA Option Book. I provided liquidity in GNMA/FNMA/FHLMC short dated options for the customer base, while also managing a proprietary spread book. This portfolio sought to take advantage of volatility mispricings within the TBA space and versus both the OTC and Listed Treasury Option markets.
