In January 2011 Asda bought 136 Netto stores; during this time my remit included converting eight Netto stores into new Asda Supermarkets. In order to successfully complete each store I had to support & coach the new store managers to the Asda cultures, Asda way of working and the Asda processes.Key areas of responsibility at this time were ensuring each supermarket was ready for the re-launch including, but not limited to:• Recruitment of all new team members• Training and coaching of all staff on store policies, processes and H&S issues• Management of a resource team of 90 to operate a ‘Buddy’ system• Stock control and ensuring each new store adheres to Trade and Standards regulations• Space management & planning
