Reporting to the CMO/CIO, I provided evidence-based business insights and perspective to support the Executive Leadership team's decision making process. I owned the data component of BevMo!'s marketing strategy through its full life-cycle. I added quantifiable and significant value to the business by pioneering the use of Machine Learning algorithms to optimize ClubBev customer segments for promotion selection which is responsible for generating nine figures in net sales annually, and loyalty marketing to 4+ million customers. Through my optimization work which included the development of proprietary scoring models, Bevmo was able to achieve a 20% improvement in margin rate for email promotions, and 5x in incremental sales for DM campaigns representing an improvement of 350% in ROÍ.Highly successfully driving incremental sales and reducing customer churn through original ideas for segmentation, selection and targeting of customers for marketing promotions. For example, through k-means Clustering followed by Random Forest classification, I identified a stale customer segment. Using Game Theory math, I optimized a promotion offering to re-engage them. This resulted in incremental sales, higher customer retention, and an additional promotion product in the portfolio.
