▪Create, implement, and manage competitive bid processes for wind and solar power plants. Includes Engineering, Environmental, Development, Design, Construction, Operations and Maintenance services required by EDPR NA, with total spend per project exceeding $100M.▪Assist Senior Services& Materials Procurement Manager with the development of contracting strategies and processes for tendering Requests for Proposals (RFPs), reviewing and leveling vendor proposals, negotiating contracts that result in the best value possible, and mentoring Services& Materials team members on varying aspects of project management, contracting strategy, and negotiation▪ Develop and manage purchasing plans and strategies relating to development, construction, and operation of the company’s wind and solar farms

▪ Drive RFI/RFQ/RFP strategy for various material and service agreements that contribute to the planning and finalization of wind farm construction by arranging Balance of Quantity & Plant (BOQ/BOP) proposals.▪ Deliver commercial plan recommendations to management on opportunities and risks through executive summary communications and presentations.▪ Act as a partner and liaison between technology, external suppliers, and internal operations teams.▪ Negotiate commercial & legal terms; execute favorable agreements▪ Validate an external party’s ability to deliver – secure alignment between EDPR and the vendor.

In the past, I've worked in Oilfield Tools & Services.▪ Support managers and manufacturing departments by working with critical component vendors, including year-over-year quality/delivery oversight, strategic sourcing actions, and various Category Management functions (>$1.5 Billion USD).▪ Organize and interpret disparate and large data sets from multiple sources to create models that yield business solutions; including, dashboards for KPI monitoring, risk analysis and mitigation, and end-to-end supply chain cost modeling.▪ Evaluate and present findings to management on opportunities and risks with PowerPoint. Own the data analytics process (data extraction, scrubbing, and validation). ▪ Evaluate new and established vendors and products in the RFI/RFQ/RFP process.▪ Create ad-hoc analyses that require creative reasoning and complex problem solving, applying Lean Six Sigma aptitude and statistical techniques where appropriate.▪ Provide quantitative and qualitative approaches to market research and forecasts in order to properly communicate assumptions/scenarios and provide recommendations.▪ Drive projects assigned to self and wider team; Foster cross-functional collaboration.
