Jerviswood Project Management was contracted through Fluor Industrial Services at the request of their client ExxonMobil to contribute to the construction of a new multi-million dollar office complex in Equatorial Guinea. As Construction Manager, I was responsible for for managing the principle Spanish contractor, project scheduling, quality control, budget allocation, communicating project updates, coordinating with the client’s Safety Manager to ensure an incident-free project, and all other on-site operations - with the majority of daily activities conducted in Spanish. Completed a 2 year secondment to Magnox Ltd (Aug 2019) in the role of Senior Regional Construction Adviser within a Nuclear decommissioning programme spread over 12 sites within the UK.

Completed projects included the following:• Network Rail - Fast Track Office Fit-Out (Works within an occupied building over 6 floors)• Chevron - Company HQ Office Fit-Out (Included client's first IOC centre globally)• Hillsborough Coroner's Inquiry - Construction / Fit-Out (UK's largest court room)• ExxonMobil - Partial Office Fit-Out (Personally requested by client to work in Doha, Qatar)• Chevron - Fast Track Office Fit-Out (Live building with 30,000 man hours incident free)• ExxonMobil - Office Fit-Out (Nominated for H&S Champion of the Year award) • Spectrum Building - Office Fit-Out (Works within an occupied, multi-tenant building)

As the owner of my own business I held numerous roles depending on the requirements of the contract - including Site Manager, Estimator, QS, Project Manager, H&S Management and MD. This diversity allowed me to develop my skills across multiple areas that I have since been able to apply to projects in my more recent positions.
