Oversaw the preservation maintenance on all MWCC equipment.• Managed development and approval maintenance procedures and checklist for equipment periodic preventative maintenance, eliminating potential rig shutdowns.• Carried out testing on capping stacks for the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement Agency (BSEE), on annual, semi-annual, and special surveys as dictated by the US government.• Assisted in developing the new expanded system and maintenance planning for future equipment. Prepared storage locations for it by conveying the necessary requirements for proper storage and preservation type maintenance on the equipment.• Conducted drills and made equipment ready for a deployment exercises for BSEE, along with Shell Oil Co. acting as the responsible party for the drill.Accomplishments:• Built a Procedure for Functioning and testing the capping equipment to pass US Government regulations, required by the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE).• Set up a facility arrangement within a warehouse to preserve equipment to be made ready in the event of an emergency.• Conducted a drill, along with Shell Oil Company acting as the responsible party, where the Capping stack was made ready, sent to a dock space. Fully tested and made ready to load on a transport vessel. It was then sent out to a test sight and launched to a depth of 7,000 ft. of water. Latched to a Mock well (Suction Pile with Mandrel). Tested with no issues and proved to the Government that a well could be capped. This led to lifting of the Deepwater Moratorium and allowed permits to be issued for further drilling operations. -
