The NAS Kingsville Operations Department operates two airfields and provides services to support operations of activity, tenant, and transiting aircraft; provides air traffic control; repairs and maintains station ground electronics equipment; operates firing ranges, bombing ranges, bombing ranges and auxiliary landing field. Hiring Manager and 1st/2nd level supervisor for civilian positions. Air traffic controller positions historically manned no higher than 44% increased to 100% during tenure. Secured a $38M airfield lighting project, successfully justifying need over 13 other installations and 100 competing priority projects.
