I am studying for my PhD in linguistics, researching computational methodologies for exploring lexical change in a 17th century London community, under the supervision of Dr Justyna Robinson and Dr Julie Weeds. My research interests lie in computational historical linguistics, and lexicography, though I am also interested in phonetic and phonological theory. I teach on modules in the undergraduate English Language and Linguistics programme. I am also the PhD rep for Linguistics.

As part of the Concept Analytics Lab, I research conceptual representations in the Mass Observations Archive.

I offer private tuition for those aged 4-18 in English Language, English Literature, verbal reasoning, and common entrance. I offer tuition in person or online. I can also provide proof-reading services and help with essay writing from GCSE to the undergraduate level.

I recorded stimuli and instructions and recruited participants to take part in Harris et al’s 2019 dichotic listening experiment into sC cluster segmentation.

I conducted original research into compliment responses, examining the correlation between compliment length and compliment response type. I presented my findings at the 2017 JRA presentations.

I worked both in the pharmacy dispensary handling patients' medication and on the shop floor dealing with customer services and requests.
