From examining centuries-old bones to A/B testing, I use mixed research methods to better understand the behaviors of both contemporary and historical communities. My career has focused on using novel combinations of data to better speak with, about, and for people:• As a higher ed administrator, I use quantitative and qualitative survey data to continuously improve the quality and relevance of online programming and resources for graduate students, resulting in 96-99% positive feedback from attendees. • As a non-profit marketer, I used A/B testing and thematic analysis of stakeholder interviews and increased my organization's membership by 25.7% and number of annual website users by 50.8%.• As an archaeologist, I used principal components analysis of LA-ICP-MS data on the mineral composition of pottery to compellingly argue that a northern Philippine community preserved their pottery-making traditions across centuries of dramatic social change.
