Production Manager -> Design Development Group Leader
CurrentAs the PGA Design Development Group Leader (f.k.a. the Roadway Group's Production Manager), my responsibilities include: • Serve as the Group Leader of PGA’s Design Development Group in a supervisory role • Champion 3D modeling, digital delivery, and digital design review through refinement of best practices, workflow development, QC/QAs, and training • Produce and/or review 3D models • Develop training regimen for, and actively participate in training of, new and current staff, esp. EIs and Designers• Serve as the technical assistance primary point “help desk” for CADD and production-related troubleshooting• Monitor, configure, and implement client workspaces and PGA customizations• Chair PGA's 3D Best Practices Committee• Lead or assist with design technology research (such as AR/VR, software options/advancements) in coordination with IT staff• Serve as primary liaison between IT and production staff for ProjectWise (workspace implementation, PGA apps, etc.)• Improve standardization of plans & documentation• Lead check-ins with production staff to discuss challenges, best practices, etc.• Work with junior staff to conduct their own trainings for other production team members• Support production staff with projects and pursuits, especially through back-checks/peer reviews• Encourage and support individual growth in project delivery aspects (i.e. LTP roles) through guided leadership• Help production staff prioritize workload and hone time management skills• Participate in the administration of ProjectWise as PGA’s primary CDE
