After practicing with a reputable law firm for 14 years, I announced the start of my own law firm in 2012. I am proud to announce we are now in our sixth successful year at Hartwig Law LLC, with the addition of two new young lawyers.My time is heavily weighted towards a diverse and fast growing criminal defense practice throughout all of Northeast Ohio courts, and Federal Court in the Northern District of Ohio, including jury trials of all levels and types of felonies and misdemeanors. I have been certified by the Ohio Supreme Court to represent indigent defendants as co-counsel in death penalty litigation. I also enjoy a steady caseload involving Plaintiff's civil litigation, wrongful death, serious and catastrophic personal injury, work-related accidents, and domestic relations matters including divorce, dissolutions, and custody.I have a special interest in helping juveniles and our firm's practice also includes the defense of children in all types of delinquency charges arising out of juvenile courts throughout Northeast Ohio. I have been directly involved in two very critical court programs to help ensure all juveniles spend less time in detention as is necessary. This area of my practice is especially personal.My firm is dedicated to the service of all our clients. I insist that our clients' telephone calls are returned as soon as possible, we meet with clients and their significant others late and on weekends as necessary, including their family members, and always consider their case to be as important as the next.
