Within Enterprise Engineering, Eddie founded the XR Hub and the Collab Tech Lab - both focused on enterprise innovation. The XR Hub was built in 2020 to support enterprise innovation in the virtual reality and augment reality technologies. This team supported over 75 pilots and concepts in development, working cross functionally with internal Meta departments: Learning & Development, Employee Health & Wellbeing, Facilities, Workplace Design, Physical Security, Environmental Health & Safety, Call Center Training, Data Center technician training and much more. This launchpad has been valuable for leaders creating 5 year roadmaps and for External-facing salespeople to have internal storytelling on the superpowers of extended reality in the Enterprise. The CT Lab conducted research with employees to uncover hidden and unmet productivity needs. Highlights include identifying the need for an expanded internal bot-platform in 2021, which has enabled employees to quickly deploy custom bots.
