CurrentI am CEO of Oxygen Public Relations, an international PR agency that brings media success to clients from many different sectors, sizes and situations. The agency spans ten offices in three continents, and runs the Global One Communications network of agencies around the world that can localize PR campaigns across all of Europe, the US, China and more. I founded Oxygen in 1999 after fifteen years of work as an IT journalist for newspapers such as 01 Informatique, L'Ordinateur Individuel, PC Expert, ZDNet, Management. With this long experience on the other side of the barrier, and frustrated by a lack of quality in how companies communicated to the media, I launched Oxygen. The idea was to do the job ‘right’ by communicating the right message, to the right journalist at the right time. Our official motto is "Who better than a journalist can talk to journalists?". At the same time, I developed the first CRM dedicated to PR agencies. This tool has become known in France as "Augure" and is among the most generally used PR software as of today. The OXYGEN Group has rapidly succeeded in becoming one of the leading PR agencies. It has grown steadily since its creation to reach a turnover of $10M by the end of 2017. In the 18 years since it’s beginnings, Oxygen’s paradigm has attracted such companies as Google, MasterCard, Qatar Airways, Peugeot, Alcatel-Lucent, Twitter and NVidia but also many startups. Foreseeing the opportunities available to French tech startups in Silicon Valley, I embarked on a new journey by opening an office in San Francisco and moving to Palo Alto in 2010. Being at the heart of the French tech community, I gathered the most creative and thriving francophone companies within French Tech Meetup San Francisco, a +2,500 group of French entrepreneurs I founded. I am also an investor on the board of several startups as well as a mentor and investor at the Refiners accelerator.
