I have been in executive management since I joined Elliott Laboratories in June 1997 as Vice President of Engineering and board director. Also served as COO, and appointed by the Board of Directors to be President & CEO in November of 2000. As President & CEO, I doubled the size of the company, increased EBIDTA, and sold the company to National Technical Systems (NASDAQ: NTSC) in June 2008. While at NTSC, I had complete fiscal responsibility for the Silicon Valley division and drove earnings to ensure a 100% payment of the earn-out for the Elliott shareholders. After 2 years, I was promoted to Vice President of the Telecom, Consumer Products, and Commercial Business Vertical, where I was responsible for service delivery and strategy development across the company. Then I became Vice President of Operations where I was responsible for 11 locations in California, Texas, Canada, and partnerships in Germany and Asia. In 2013 I co-founded MycoWorks to create sustainable mycelium based materials and started my own Strategy Driven consulting company, Silicon Valley Solutions. In 2016, I joined Underwriters Laboratories (UL) where I ran global operations for all Wireless and Innovation Programs, managing 19 labs in 10 countries. I am also a board member and trusted adviser for several SF Bay area companies. In 2023 I joined Westpak Inc as COO, where I am responsible for the San Jose and San Diego operations. I also joined Bluefin Executive Consulting as a partner in 2023 where I serve as a trusted advisor and executive coach for several companies. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, strong interpersonal skills, executive management experience, and have been an active member of a Vistage CEO Group for over 15 years, where I was nominated in 2011 for the prestigious Leadership Award. I co-invented an EMC termination technique, US Patent Number: US5898576, have published numerous papers, and am the co-developer/owner of the EMCT Tutorial, with over 1,600 users in 45 countries around the world. Outside of business, I am an amateur astronomer & astrophotographer, with photographs published in several publications, including Astronomy Magazine. I enjoy hiking, SCUBA, and have over 500 skydives.
