Genesis Basketball was founded on the premise that all of today's youth, regardless of their social, economic or educational standing should have the opportunity to play basketball at an elite level. Since then Genesis has grown into one of Calgary's largest and most successful programs with over 500 boys and girls participating in their year round programs.

At Sapphire, my focus is specific to the Information Technology division. I am responsible for all phases of the recruitment and selection process including sourcing, screening, testing, interviewing, and coordinating contract and permanent job offers.I successfully qualify existing profiles and match current client position requirements. I negotiate compensation packages with account and hiring managers to extend offers to candidates. Working closely with account managers, I help to prepare all documentation necessary for the start of employment and orientation. Chiefly, I participate in complex recruiting strategies.A key part of my work is to maintain a network of qualified candidates. To accomplish this I focus on using creative sourcing techniques, such as networking, and direct candidate sourcing. Additionally, I maintain this network through effective and efficient communication.
