BDC 2008 was formed as part of a management buyout of BDC Foster in Dec 2008. The newly formed directorship asked me to take charge of the entire sales function of the new Company. From the beginning I lead the entire sales function of the new company and within six months I was able to regenerate a third of the old business from a standing start through account initiatives, web marketing programs, product range clearances, a restructured six branch team and a Call Centre. Within 8 months we had attracted new investment and I was subsequently promoted to National Sales Director.

BDC Foster was a National Electrical Wholesaler, specializing in Business to Business supply of electrical product to National Wholesalers, Buying Groups (Wholesale and Retail), Schools, Universities, National and Local Government Contracts, Electrical Contractors and Independent Wholesalers and Retailers. They went in to administration in December 2008.

Responsible for:As above, but with responsibility for 5-8 Branches in the South and the Regional Distribution Hub.Overall, turnover at all Branches was either maintained or grown over 5 years in charge. Within these 5 years I had also initiated a cost saving program that had saved the company approx £500,000.
