After my career at Accenture I started my own company Okretia Consulting. The first year I used to reflect on my career and spend more time with my family and my horses. Okretia is an ode to the most successful horse my family breaded, better known as Miss Independent. Currently I am working as a contractor on complex IT/ERP delivery projects and using my 20 years of international IT delivery experience to help clients in achieve their digital ambitions in the current digital world.I am specialized in Systems Integration, focusing on connecting best of breed SaaS applications to legacy ERP applications. Key skills I have developed are within agile delivery methods, vendor management, change enablement and team performance management areas. I have years of experience with multiple vendors like Oracle, Microsoft, JDA, PTC, IBM and Salesforce to name a few. After joining Accenture in October 2005 I continued working for large multinationals, with a focus on Oracle Ebusiness Suite roll outs and upgrades. As a project manager I have delivered several Oracle EBS upgrades as well as two Oracle retail projects in an international context. With the emergence of Application Outsourcing my role shifted towards Application Outsourcing Delivery Management, managing diverse teams across the globe. In recent years I am focusing fully on the delivery of cloud services to our clients. Currently my focus is on creating application roadmaps with clients to identify areas where legacy systems can be replaced by best of breed SaaS solutions. As a Delivery Excellence Manager I am responsible for successfully delivering strategic projects and managing the customer relationship. Building a lasting relationship to guarantee long term successful delivery and customer success is my key objective. Working with vendors like Oracle, Salesforce, JDA and PTC in Industries like Retail and Communication & High Tech.

I joined Deloitte in April 2002 after the Andersen transaction. During my Deloitte period I continued providing business consulting and application consulting services to large multinationals. Besides Oracle Financials, I specialized on JDEdwards supply chain and financials as part of a global roll out at a large logistics service provider based in The Netherlands. As I am always eager to learn how applications work I also specialized in security within Enterprise Applications and participated in multiple Sarbanes Oxley projects to support the EDP auditors with application specific knowledge.

I joined Arthur Andersen in January 2000 as a business consultant which became Andersen Business Consulting as from January 2001. Within Andersen my focus expanded from Logistics to Finance processes. My specialization remained focused on business process modelling and mapping specific business needs to software offerings, mostly Oracle Applications but also local software vendors like Metacom. In my Andersen period I would often have roles as teamlead for workstreams within ERP package implementation as well as application specialist supporting our EDP audit practice. After the transaction between Andersen and Deloitte I joined Deloitte in Spring 2002.

Joining Arthur Andersen was both a big change as well as a great opportunity. Having worked mostly in the Supply Chain area I was now given the opportunity to expand my knowledge into the Finance area. My first project was a big Finance Transition program within the Dutch Royal Real Estate Office, I was responsible for the migration of financial data from their Legacy system to the new Oracle Financials ERP system. I gained deep knowledge in key modules like General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Project Accounting.

At Delaware Consulting I fulfilled multiple consultant roles in Mainly the Food and Beverages markets to help Small and Mid Sized companies implement Baan ERP. My specialization was Logistics, Production Planning and Materials Management for which I was a process expert. I specialized in process modelling and software configuration. During this period I also was responsible for building an excise duty module on top of the Baan software together with Atos Origin. After Delaware was merged with Arthur Andersen I joined Arthur Andersen in spring 2000.

I did a study to develop a model in which the environmental impact of a product could be determined from cradle to grave. I supported the Senior Environmental Consultant from PWC with Data Collection from key vendors in the construction supply industry. After data collection we developed a model in which the impact on the environment in the various stages of the product lifecycle could be estimated. I also published the results in a thesis which was rated with an 8 (scale 1-10) by my University.
