The Centre for Creative Conversation is dedicated to improving the quality of human connection.It offers consultancy, training and coaching at all levels in collaboration and conflict transformation through creative conversation. Creative conversation is an approach to understanding and being understood by others that seeks to create value in every exchange. The work of The Centre for Creative Conversation is based on the book Eddy co-wrote with Peter Osborn - 'The Talking Revolution: How Creative Conversation Can Change The World' - which was published in December 2018. They have also produced a free public online course together - The 7 Habits of Creative Conversation - which can be found at www.creativeconversation.org. Until April 2018 Eddy was supporting the Swedish Armed Forces and FBA in the preparation of Exercise Viking 18 - one of the world's largest 'peace games'. Before that he co-led the multinational MCDC 'Understand to Prevent' civil-military initiative, which explored an expanded role for the military in the prevention of violent conflict. The results can be accessed via the links below.Eddy has been a member of the Strategy Forum of the UK Chief of the Defence Staff and a visiting lecturer at the UK Defence Academy. In 2006 he took a lead role in establishing the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues and in 2011 he co-founded Engi, a social enterprise that worked with the private sector, civil society, government and the military to help manage conflict and reduce violence. A graduate of New College, Oxford, Eddy has also authored best-selling books on Buddhism and written numerous drama scripts for television. His award-winning credits include the worldwide BBC hits Pompeii: The Last Day (nominated for two BAFTAs) and Supervolcano.Eddy has been a Samaritans listening volunteer since 2015.
