Currently I have a long-term assignment for one company. I am not available for other assignments.On April 1st 2019, I started a long term assigment as "PLANT MANAGER" at Vasco (Dilsen-Stokkem) and as board member of Vasco Group. (part of the Swiss based companyl Arbonia AG). The plant in Dilsen is a production site for design radiators, residential ventilation systems and under-floor-heating tube. As from January 2023 onwards the role changed into "OPERATIONS DIRECTOR DILSEN". I am in charge of the production plant, logistics for all Vasco and Superia products distributed from the Dilsen site, product management ventilation and all product development done in Dilsen. Previous assignment (Feb. 2017- Feb. 28th, 2019): "SITE MANAGER" ad interim at Lantmännen Unibake (Londerzeel, Belgium). I have been in charge of a state-of-the-art and highly automized new manufacturing plant, that produces pre-baked frozen bread products on industrial scale. Role: general management, start-up of new manufacturing equipment and new projects, change management. The site was awarded "Factory of the Future" in 2018. It is part of a large Scandinavian multinational company. Previous assignment (during 1 year): "MANAGER PRODUCTION POWDERING, CUTTING & PACKING" ad interim at Royal Agio Cigars (Westerlo, Belgium).Main achievements: successful management of a steep temporary output increase, implementation of several new pack designs and start-up of new packaging equipment.

Overall responsibility as site director at a contract packaging plant, working for the health care industry. The facility provides packaging services for pharmaceutical products, probiotics and special baby nutrition products in accordance with the standards of the pharmaceutical (cGMP) and the food industry. This Belgian site is part of "Sharp Packaging Services", a division of UDG Healthcare plc.

Gebze (Turkey)

Overall responsibility for the manufacturing site at Gebze (Turkey).This has been a temporary assignment with focus on:-the coaching of the local team-the preparation for a significant volume increase-the management of the start-up of an important new project -the implementation of corporate and divisional systems and procedures-the hiring and training of a new local plant manager

Sterigenics provides sterilization services to the healthcare industry by applying the following technologies: ethylene oxide gas sterilization, gamma irradiation, e-beam irradiation.I have been in charge of all operations in Europe and Asia (11 sites).

Herentals

In charge of the Belgian operations of Plastic Omnium Automotive N.V. and member of the management team of the Business Unit Central Europe. Plastic Omnium Automotive supplies painted exterior parts and assembled units to the automotive industry. Supply is done just-in-time and in line sequence.Under my leadership the plant evolved to the divisional benchmark regarding lean/TPM/productivity and KPI's.

In charge of the production of exhaust systems for the after sales market and for "truck, bus and industry"

Start-up of the newly created "product unit sizes AA and AAA".

In charge of the chemical and metallurgical laboratory, quality assurance for special processes, analysis of complex quality issues, customer quality contacts and PPAP for all non-VOLVO projects, purchasing of measurement and test equipment.

Head of the supplier quality assurance department, responsible for SQA for 180 suppliers (app. 1000 components). Modification of a reactive approach into a pro-active approach. Implementation of system and process audits at suppliers.

In charge of supplier and production quality assurance. Leader of the quality department with reporting line to the manager quality and development. Host for customer visits.
