Current• Ensure the on-time of monthly data submissions to SIRA, co-ordination of error corrections, re-lodgement with SIRA, education and training of Workers Compensation staff on error minimisation and monitoring trends in error types and causes.• Maintain the Workers Compensation claims management IT system, including troubleshooting, access requirements, upgrades, maintenance/testing and overseeing the integration of the claims management IT system with other Ausgrid systems. • Support… Show more • Ensure the on-time of monthly data submissions to SIRA, co-ordination of error corrections, re-lodgement with SIRA, education and training of Workers Compensation staff on error minimisation and monitoring trends in error types and causes.• Maintain the Workers Compensation claims management IT system, including troubleshooting, access requirements, upgrades, maintenance/testing and overseeing the integration of the claims management IT system with other Ausgrid systems. • Support the Manager Workers Compensation to identify improvements in Workers Compensation strategies and initiatives by providing relevant claims data analysis and, in turn, to reduce claim liability and improve injury recovery outcomes. • Review data, including the production of periodic and ad-hoc reports to improve Workers Compensation outcomes against Ausgrid’s targets.• Develop and maintain effective and sustained engagement with key internal and external stakeholders, including responding to general queries on the system and payment related issues.• Undertake activities associated with the payment of compensation and related costs, in accordance with legislative requirements and published scales for service fees, including invoice data entry, monitoring trends in costs and provider over-charging/over-servicing and up-loading of payment data for cheque production.• Prompt registration of claims into Ausgrid’s claims management IT system to support early injury and claims intervention activities.• Ensure Workers Compensation staff receive maximum benefit from the claims management IT system’s functionality, including identification of operating errors, requirement for system enhancements and acting as an SME on the use of the system. • Support the Workers Compensation Section by performing claims administration activities at the direction of the Workers Compensation Manager.
