My working life in engineering is mainly in 2 parts: 20+ years in shop floor fabrication, machining, welding, etc and 20+ years in machine and general product design. I have enjoyed the privilege of continuing to operate in both environments, as I often weld and/or machine some of my designed components as outsourcing can sometimes take up valuable time. Computer skills, incl. AutoCAD Ver. 10, 11 & LT, 13 14 2000, 2001, 2002,2004 (3d solid modeling) Mechanical Desktop 3 to 6, &2004 & Inventor 10.With 5 day training in SolidWorks 2001.Additional training to SolidWorks 2013.Upgrading to SolidWorks 2015.Competent in Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.· Welding certificates: - D.L.I.-1 1980 D.L.I.- 4, (1983) ESSO-6GR, (1982) LLOYDS - HB-SS-12 (1982) LLOYDS - HB-CS-10 (1982)
