Hi name is Eddy Nunez, and I'm currently seeking either entry level role in the field of Geology or within the field of UX Design.I graduated from Queens College of the City University of New York during the summer of 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Geology. While at Queens College I established and grew my passion for field work and environmental issues. Some of the courses that fascinated me most were GIS, Sedimentology, and Field Mapping, where I conducted a semester-long project on the surficial geology of Ulster County, NY.Not long after graduating I decided to pursue UX Design through a Googles UX Certificate during the fall of 2022 while looking for a place to learn and grow within the field of Geology. I quickly developed a passion for a UX and decided that I wanted to peruse UX in some capacity. Either by transitioning completely to the field or through freelancing if the opportunity presents itself. I also discovered that I have a desire to continue my education. However Graduate studies are expensive and the UX certificate opened my eyes to other disciplines. Currently I am exploring the world of front-end web development, computer science and cyber security through Codecadamys online program as I look to develop skills for both UX and Geology through the use of coding languages such as html, java, and python.I'm always happy to connect with like-minded Geologist and UX professionals as well as others who have a similar story to mine in academia.
