I have been with the The Nature Conservancy (TNC) for more than 10 years. My current role is the Climate Adaptation Program Manager at the Caribbean Division. I lead the climate adaptation strategy and soon the implementation of a robust program to advance the organization’s goals to enhance climate resilience in the Caribbean region through nature based solutions. For four years, I was the regional manager of Resilient Islands project. A ground breaking initiative funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) and implemented by TNC and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to help Caribbean islands and people cope with the impacts of climate change by promoting the use of nature based solutions and community based adaptation to reduce risks and build resilience.
