At Jackson Tidus I advised clients on all aspects of CEQA compliance. I was also involved in a number of water law matters and assisted in due diligence matters for small and large scale projects.

At Kidman Law I advised and assisted public water agencies on all aspects of public agency law, including the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, contract procurement and CEQA. I also served as Assistant General Counsel at Board of Directors’ meetings for those agencies. I specially enjoyed working closely with agency staff and dealing with a variety of issues in all departments, including, Engineering, Finance and Administration.

At Kidman, Behrens and Tague I advised and assisted wholesale and retail public water agencies on all CEQA-compliance matters. I prepared numerous environmental impact reports for highly controversial and large-scale projects and was part of a legal team that successfully defended a 41,000 acre-foot water transfer and an 11,000 acre-foot water transfer. I also advised and assisted a major water supplier with its preparation of SB 610 Water Supply Assessments for development projects in a rapidly-growing area of Southern California where such assessments were often attacked by project opponents.

At Alvarado, Smith & Sanchez I advised clients, negotiated terms and drafted documents related to real property acquisitions, commercial leases, and loan modifications. I also conducted due diligence for real property acquisitions, including the review of preliminary title reports and underlying documents.
