About Eddy - Thans
I am one of the founders of Prime Vision and have led the company since 2000. I have used my background in physics and finance to create a successful technology company and I am proud that my knowledge of image processing, neural networks, deep learning and software development has made me a source of inspiration and a trusted partner in the postal and logistics sector. I would describe my leadership style as 'casual intensity'; a combination of not taking yourself too seriously but in the meantime focus on results and impact. Improving yourself step by step, slowly but surely. The best feeling I get is from the cooperation with all my team mates at Prime Vision. In daily work I apply a relationship-oriented approach and I am happy that with my innovative view I have been able to contribute to what distinguishes Prime Vision from the competition. During my professional life I have created, restructured and carved-out several other technology companies. You can always approach me for coaching young companies or companies in stress. I enjoy giving back, but it's also a source of inspiration for myself. The whole process of vesting, growing and selling technology companies is clearly one of my interests. I think enthusiasm is the greatest asset in the world. So I’m keen on keeping pleasure in my life and work. Besides work, I also enjoy golf and playing tennis. Reading books is also a hobby, although having more time available for it would be preferred. And let us not forget to enjoy good coffee.
