Having a passion is not overrated. As a student in Waterloo’s Computer Science program, I entered a field of study of endless possibilities. In full honesty, I’ve always undermined the contributions I have made throughout my younger years. It is for this reason that I’ve committed myself to one goal: to make a difference in this world; more specifically, working towards the realization of technology’s potential.It was only through my experiences that I finally began to notice my passion for the power of the digital world. I developed my skills and learned concepts not to earn more money, not to impress my professors, not to follow the general trend, but because it is my passion. So, to me, it doesn’t matter how many coding languages you know, how many degrees you have, how many exams or tests you aced, how many leetcode problems you solved, as long as you have that driving force to break the obstacles placed in your path. For me, that driving force is my passion for technology.
