I am no longer affiliated with Ameriplan. I was not cut out for this type of business. Seven years ago I became a Caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care. This is what I am all about. I love helping people, and especially helping the elderly to live independently as long as possible. We allow them to remain in their homes.I take them shopping, doctor appointments, hair appointments., or whatever they need. Companionship is very important to these people. I would love to become an advocate for them. The elderly really don't have anyone who speak for them. This is something I am very passionate about.I have learned a lot about how the elderly think. For instance, when it comes to their families, they do not want to be a burden to them, they do not want to bother them with what they might need. They understand that their families are busy with their lives, and don't always have time to spend with them. What many families don't understand is that their elderly relatives won't be around when they are ready to be a part of their lives again. Age marches on, and for the elderly, it marches much faster than when they were younger. These precious people will defend their families, rather than complain about them. Like I say, I would love to be an advocate for them.
