Responsible for leading a team of staff in the planning, development and implementation of cross border health and social care project planning and implementation. Led on the INTERREG V Innovation Recovery (€7.6m) project which established across border Community and Voluntary sector infrastructure for Mental Health Recovery Education across NI and the border counties of the Republic. Executive Lead representing CAWT on the INTERREG V mPower Project supporting transformation in older people's primary care services via Community Navigation and e-health supports. Previously worked at administering EU INTERREG IVA funding (€30m) in support of 12 large scale cross border health & social care projects for the period 2009-2014.Work with the CEO’s and Senior Managers of the Health and Social Care Boards and Trusts in the Western and Southern areas of Northern Ireland, Departments of Health and the Health Service Executive in the Republic of Ireland, on a broad range of cross border health projects.

Responsible for leading, managing, co-ordinating and establishing the innovative Cross Border GP Out of Hours Pilot Project funded under the EU INTERREG IIIA Programme. Led project team to resolve a wide range of complex cross border issues which had previously prevented formalised arrangements between the health services North and South of the border for provision of GP Out of Hours services. Negotiated and developed cross border protocols to underpin service delivery eg professional registration, data protection, technical and communication systems, perscribing practices and access to medications, referrals to secondary services, child protection, responding to cross border patients with mental health conditions, etc.

Management of a range of health improvement initiatives within the WHSCT's Health Improvement Department. Worked in partnership with statutory, voluntary and community agencies to tackle health inequalities and improve health and social well-being within the WHSCT area. Broad remit including mental health promotion, cancer and heart disease prevention, etc. Developed health policies and researched, designed and delivered training.Managed team of Health Improvement Officers.
