Since March of 2005, Ed has been the owner of Ely Development Services, LLC, a Commercial Real Estate Development and Development Services company.Ed has extensive experience in all aspects of Commercial Real Estate Development and Land Development. Projects include:• A current assignment for Kimco Realty in Raleigh, North Carolina evaluating and marketing out parcels in five of their shopping centers in that market.• A 30,000 SF Office building for BCS Inc. in the Emerson Corporate Commons in North Laurel.• A two building 40,000 SF Office project at Orrick Commons in Winchester, VA.• Marketing and successfully selling a 9 acre Office site for Buccini Pollin near Arundel Mills Mall in Maryland.• Various other Brokerage and Consulting assignments.• Serving as an Expert Witness in Real Estate related lawsuits

Ed is also an adjunct faculty member in the Masters in Real Estate Program at Johns Hopkins University. He currently teaches the Capstone Course, and has also taught Real Estate Market Analysis.

For the 23 years prior to starting Ely Development Services, LLC, he was Vice President and Director of Land Sales at the Rouse Company (and briefly for General Growth following the merger) in Columbia, Maryland. He directed the sales and leasing of Business and Commercial land to Retailers, Corporate Users and Developers in the 14,000 acre Master Planned Community of Columbia, MD, and handled Peripheral Land at Company retail projects nationally. Recent Rouse/ GGP projects include: • Columbia Crossing, a 750,000 SF Regional shopping center • Snowden Square, a 500,000 SF Regional shopping center • Columbia Gateway, a 600 acre business park• Kendall Town Center, a 160 acre Mixed Use project in Miami, FL.• Gateway Overlook, a 500,000 SF Regional shopping center• Redevelopment of North Point Mall in Alpharetta, GA• Peripheral sites at Rouse/General Growth Centers • Three Restaurant Parks
