As a Volunteer Coordinator, I am responsible for ensuring 102 meal routes are covered by volunteer drivers daily. This position interacts with volunteers, recipients, and staff on the phone (the majority of the time) and in person. Additionally, responsible for fielding recipient phone calls regarding daily meal delivery, change in service type or dates, billing issues, and any other questions, comments, or concerns. Participating in a monthly Produce On Wheels Saturday event, cross-trained in other duties involving routing and meal delivery, being cross-trained in clerical responsibilities including answering phones.
