This role involved taking ownership of in-service investigations and integrated project teams to resolve operator and overhaul concerns, enabling the maximisation of the OEM's aftermarket business through effective technical fleet support. It included utilising specialist knowledge, strategic planning, project management and the latest OEM and commercial software, to analyse both the OEM and operators in-service issues, providing engineering solutions and technical support to optimise the management, life and reliability of the engine fleets.Responsibilities:• Approving and publishing OEM Engine Manuals• Liaise with specialists to write the contents of the manuals• Authoring official documentation • Point of contact for OEM Service Investigation related issues.

In this role I worked as part of a team who are responsible for providing our customer with multi-million pound cost reduction solutions across their fleet of Civil Large Aero Engines. These solutions are generated in a variety of ways, typically through component damage/wear acceptance limit relaxations, component life extensions, process improvements and commercial renegotiations. Completion of these solutions can result in a reduction of repair prices, running costs, prevention of further damages, and the avoidance of further occurrences of work scope creep or unnecessary engine check and repairs.

Working as an inventory specialist allows me to ensure that all the stock in the store is managed and that each product is accounted for. My key responsibilities involved;• Performing counts on all stock on a weekly basis• Using SAP to monitor stock• Responsible for management of all the stock delivered to the store• Resolving discrepancies between the data obtained in SAP and physical product quantities• Solving all stock issues between departments
