 Assisting the Attorney with high profile cases.  Primary responsibilities included all administrative and paralegal roles including, but not limited to, drafting and filing of pleadings such as Motions, Summons and Complaint, Discovery, Interrogatories and Orders with the appropriate Clerk of Court, and Defense Counsels. Correspondence to clients, lawyers, and adjusters. Responsible for reporting of all expenses incurred to client(s) ledgers and associated reimbursement of expenses to supervising attorney.  Responsible for calendaring upcoming court events and court deadlines.  Coordinate trials, hearings, mediation conferences, document inspections, depositions and conferences with applicable parties.  Organize trial preparation and support including witness lists, exhibits and trial binders. Prepare demands and compiled demand packages to insurance adjusters. Experienced in negotiating Medicare/Medicaid, and private insurance subrogation compliance when appropriate. Assist clients with providers, property damage claims, and resolving client and adjuster PIP issues. Ensured all files are organized, complete and ready for demand Ordered, reviewed, and summarized medical records. Worked closely with insurance adjusters and defense counsel to negotiate settlements. Verified account balances and subrogation. Initiated set up process on all Personal Injury files as well as Criminal, Workers' Compensation, Wills, Power of Attorney, and Medical Malpractice. Prepared disbursements for settlement. Answered telephone calls and scheduled appointments for clients. Draft various correspondences to clients, clerks of court and opposing counsel(s) as needed.  Provide daily/weekly/monthly Case Status Reports and/or updates to clients as requested.  Conduct client interviews and maintain general contact with client(s).
