I bring more than 20 years of experience in the areas of executive support, culture and team building, organizational and system design, human resource policy development, and operations and finance. Select career accomplishments include: Executive Support - Serve as a gatekeeper and facilitator for the busy Executive Director of Seed Commons in a period of immense growth by assessing and prioritizing requests for his time from both internal and external stakeholders ensuring that he spends his time on the most impactful work.Culture and Team Building- In preparation for contract negotiations at UAW Local 2110, engage staff from all departments to identify leaders who will be effective committee members. Through meetings, one-on-one conversations and written surveys, identify staff needs and priorities to develop contract proposals.Organizational and System Design- Develop cross-functional systems and tools to achieve and maintain Seed Commons’ certification as a Community Development Financial Institution, requiring strict attention to deadlines, understanding of compliance requirements, and thorough data management practices across departments.Human Resource Policy Development- Create written resources for Seed Commons to promote a good understanding of benefit options, through clearly defining and translating terminology into user friendly language.- Advocated and spearheaded the implementation of the Seed Commons’ first retirement plan.Operations and Finance- Evaluate and assess payroll service providers and develop internal accounting templates to facilitate accurate and timely bookkeeping, allowing the staff of Seed Commons to grow from 3 to more than 40 during my tenure.
