Fine Organics is a leading European contract manufacturer of high quality fine chemicals for use in the Crop Protection, Pharmaceutical and Speciality chemicals markets. • Responsible for the handling of dangerous raw materials and flammable solvents, carrying out process tasks such as; distillations, separations, monitoring exothermic reactions, permit to work system, packaging final products, problem solving and troubleshooting.• Responsible for maintenance of plant services, which include temperature control modules, vacuum pumps, air pollution control systems and the formulation of risk assessments. • Taking samples of product and booking them in quality control for in-process and final product analysis. • Work 12 hour shifts in teams of up to 15 persons. • Close monitoring of plant systems ensuring safe control target limits are maintained.• Through knowledge and experience aid in the identification of process plant improvements.• Carry out first line maintenance guaranteeing plant availability and safety is maintained.• Identify and report process plant defects via site software program and defect tags. Helping ensure plant equipment availability is maximised.
