My Advanced Physiotherapy placement was in Whyalla, working at both the hospital and the UniSA Clinic. In the hospital i was in an acute care setting and also got to experience watching the surgeries of a THR and TKR. In the UniSA student clinic i was managing musculoskeletal injuries and running post-op exercise classes.

Developed my assessment and management in a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Developed my knowledge and experience working in acute care, working in many different areas including cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics and paediatrics.

My first 3rd year placement was in the Rehabilitation and Palliative Care building at Flinders Medical Centre on the Tobruk ward, developing my skills in the management of patients with neurological conditions, mainly patients post stroke.
