I am a recent graduate of The University of Mississippi with a Bachelors of Science in Forensic Chemistry with minors in mathematics and biological sciences. In the summer of 2022, I completed a 300 hour forensic internship with ElSohly Laboratories Inc. in Oxford, MS, and gained hands on experience in an accredited laboratory. During my time employed at Panera Bread, I gained many essential workplace skills such as communication, leadership and problem solving. I was promoted multiple times from Associate up to Team Manager based on my hard work and dedication. On a daily basis, I was required to communicate effectively with not only customers but also my fellow employees, which taught me how to assess situations to take the right corrective actions to ensure the satisfaction and quality of guest services.Currently, I am developing my professional skills as a medical assistant at Cary Family Eye Care. My daily tasks include patient intake and pretesting. In March 2024, I have taken on an additional role as Vision Therapy Coordinator with Cary Vision Therapy as it begins to open. I have worked closely with Logan Lineberry, O.D. to establish policies and documents for the practice, contact patients for scheduling and information, and working towards the goal of becoming a vision therapist as well.
