I am a freshman Student-Athlete at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign majoring in Business, with hopes of pursuing a career in Sports or Business Data Analytics. I am very intrigued by how teams and businesses use data to drive smart decisions and look forward to learning more about the field throughout college. As a Student-Athlete, I have learned many skills to help me be successful, such as hard work, dedication, discipline, sacrifice and team work. I have also been fortunate to be a team captain throughout my High School career which has taught communication skills, leadership, time management, organization and problem solving. I look forward to expanding on these skills throughout college and as a future employee. During High School, I also worked in retail at a Bakery for two summers, and started a gymnastics class for young girls in my neighborhood. These jobs gave me a small taste of working and I really enjoyed helping those around me and showing leadership.
