I also developed the CCC local elections app "Celect" and the CCC "Chch Events" app, for finding events in Christchurch.• Developed and published an end to end solution for an online mapping platform, within the SilverStripe CWP framework. Allowing content authors to generate their own maps on the fly, with minimal understanding required of geospatial data. This was developed through multiple iterations of improvement• Technical Lead on transitioning the BeThere.co.nz Christchurch events website in to the CCC website, building an extensive events platform on the SilverStripe framework • Solo developer on the CCC’s first inhouse mobile app; Celect. Managing a highly demanding and fast paced workload, I quickly built a large network of contacts within the organisation which allowed me to move quickly and highly efficiently to build and enhance the IT image for the City Council. • Managed service requests in an IT queue using VMWare Service Manager which included, updating intranet and internet sites within the TeamSite CMS, creating interactive project sites using BangTheTable, designing complex forms and consultation submission options and more. Upon managing the service queue, I was able to work through and reduce the total number of ongoing jobs to a record low• Involved in a number of high value projects such as investigating and deploying a mobile intranet solution specifically for council meetings to remove paper agendas, meeting minutes, reference documents and replace them with tablets • Managed and maintained several web servers and applications including highly public sensitive sites such as the Christchurch City Council's District plan and associated sites • Assisted with the roll out of the Council's first online payment option for Dog registration and streamlined • Provided support with content migration to the new Silverstripe web platform on the new website. Recreating site structure and content to fit to the new platform • Full implementation of a new method of displaying internal organisational charts, replacing a swathe of PDF's for each team.
