As a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I am studying Textile and Fashion Design, specializing in the Fashion and Apparel track with a background in Fine Arts. Additionally, I serve as the Executive Editor at The Issue UW, a student-led fashion, media and lifestyle organization that was awarded Best New Student Organization by the University of Wisconsin Center for Leadership and Involvement for 2024.My exploration spans across various genres of art and design. Drawing from my background in Fine Arts, I strive to integrate interdisciplinary techniques into my work. Specifically, my designs aim to transform traditional silhouettes and construction of both men's and women's wear, enhancing androgyny through sophisticated patterning, detailed sketching and structured design. Upon graduation, I will possess an enriched understanding of art and design processes and thinking. This is complemented by my leadership experience, gained over two years in a creative production and managerial role in a student run magazine, as well as three years of involvement in guiding artistic events and facilitating material sales. Notably, I gained valuable experience in community engagement by collaborating on a creative design proposal with a local community. Over six years, I have refined my customer service abilities, particularly in sales and customer interaction. Currently based in Madison, Wisconsin, I am open to relocation for new opportunities.
