CanvaSounds, or 'Canvas Sounds,' is the product of a unique initiative that has brought together the voices of international composers based in Boston. It is dedicated to changing the paradigm of new concert music through intermedia collaboration and extraordinary listening experiences.Concerts programs include original chamber works inspired by various other artistic media (painting, photography, sculpture, and poetry) that express the composers experience of the chosen piece. We often collaborate with groups like Mass Art Dance and visual artists to integrate the visceral and break the fourth wall.
