So, I’m Eden Salomon, and in 2020, right when Dubai opened up to us Israelis, I took one of the first flights and immediately fell in love. The first thing that enchanted me was the sense of security everywhere—first as an Israeli and then as a tourist in general. I learned to know a Muslim country that values us—as a strong and proud nation, as a people who have gone through a long and challenging journey, as a technological and security powerhouse, and as a partner on this journey. Appreciation is important and should be reflected in actions—and indeed, it is. The second thing that enchanted me is the vast array of options that the destination offers to tourists, in every possible configuration (family/children/couples/friends), from the best parks in the world, zoos, beautiful viewpoints, nature, ambitious and innovative projects, cultural events, to the best restaurants in the world, beach clubs hosting the world’s biggest artists weekly, stunning hotels, and comfortable flights. (By the way, everything is available for every budget—and if someone tells you otherwise, send them to me). The third reason that made me fall in love with Dubai is the fact that each of these categories (hotels/attractions/restaurants/entertainment spots) simply leads in every possible measure. The world’s top brands in all areas of tourism come there and perform on a grand scale. So, I realized this was it. And I went ahead. I signed agreements with the best suppliers in every possible field—suppliers we work closely with every day, suppliers who have become our business partners, suppliers who have allowed us to provide you with top-notch service for over four years. Suppliers who help us support you when there’s a problem (a classic example is the support we gave you on Black Saturday). And even when everything is fine. We live, breathe, and eat Dubai every day—and thanks to this expertise, we know how to serve tens of thousands of customers each year with great professionalism. And my background? Completely different. I started my adult life as a soldier in the IDF, a career officer, degrees, matters...And when I decided to follow my greatest passion—Dubai had just opened, perfect timing.
