About Enrico Depaolis

Mr. DePaolis started his career as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer with OPT Industries, an Electronics Engineering firm specializing in high-frequency magnetic components for the military. After OPT, Mr. DePaolis joined the Black & Decker Corporation where he won several awards for his innovative designs and peer mentoring. Mr. DePaolis also developed and managed the Information Technology arm for their Worldwide Engineering teams from Black & Decker’s World Headquarters in Towson, Maryland. Following Black & Decker, Mr. DePaolis created his first start-up, EMD Enterprises, where he built a consulting practice with clients such as Black & Decker, US Steel Corporation, Ingersol Rand – Dressor Pump, Florida Dept. of State and NATO. Building on the success of EMD, Mr. DePaolis expanded the company (EMD Worldwide, Corp.) offerings to include computer software and hardware development as well as international consulting. His companies won several international product awards for innovation. In 2001, Mr. DePaolis joined Dendrite International. There he quickly rose through the ranks having been promoted 4 times in 3 years. His last role while at Dendrite was Vice President Technical Services & Global Practice Leader. While at Dendrite, Mr. DePaolis assisted in the adoption of their Human Centered Design practices and was trained by IDEO in the art of product innovation and process re-engineering. He also was responsible for creating the Professional Services Group (PSG) which consisted of a team of professionals from various sectors in the technology industry. Mr. DePaolis is currently working on transforming healthcare IT in the areas of Cloud Computing, IT management, process management, data center consolidation, Big Data, HIE and clinical analytics.Most notably, Mr. DePaolis is recognized as an industry thought leader in computer technologies and has presented his views on technology and business to audiences worldwide.
