I held this position for two Mariposa Folk Festivals “MFF”; summer of 2012 and 2013. It was great fun and I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know the most unbelievable talent! Memorable Takeaway/2012: Chatting over a beer with Gordon Lightfoot! His appearance was an unscheduled performance and a sheer delight to all there. Before the amazing headliner, Canadian Songwriter, Jann Arden took the stage; Gordon preformed two songs to 7,000 festival goers. While playing, other than the sound of Gordon and his guitar the audience was so silent you could hear your heartbeat.
