Responsible for the commercial breeding program of sugarcane, working directly in the planning and management of activities, such as: field trials, mass selection in SC1stage, phenotypic data collect from SC2, PCM1 and PCM3 stages, phenotypic characterization through "MET" (Mult Environment Trials). Responsible for the management of five different regions of Brazil: São Paulo Center, São Paulo West, Paraná state, Midwest and Northeast regions, managed separately by a regional breeder lead. Responsible for interacting with other areas, as: Discovery Breeding, Technology Development Team (TD), Comercial, Marketing, Biotech and ESH.Achievements: Sugarcane breeding pipe line organization; increasing the number of trials and phenotypic evaluation, organization of Brazil sugarcane breeding in five strategic regions; implementation of mechanized harvest system in sugar cane field trials, which contributed to better accuracy of field data and employee safety; protection and registration of four newsugarcane varieties, which currently have been occupying large areas of planting, especially in São Paulo state.
