I completed a Bachelor's Degree at the University of California, Riverside in the field of Sociology. I am also an aspiring physician. During the past few years, I have been involved with two major Hospitals in the Southern California Area. I volunteered for about 2 years with Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in which I experienced and cemented the idea that Healthcare is the field for me. The UCLA COPE Health Scholar Program also allowed me to experience hands-on patient care in the following departments: Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Surgical Unit, Neurology, Urgent Care, and Radiology. Most recently I have had the pleasure to work as a freelance Certified Healthcare Interpreting with the following agencies:GLOBO, Pacific Interpreters, Inc., and SAI Professional Interpreters. I have been assigned to a wide variety of assignments during the past year such as Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Diabetes, Pediatric GI, Social Security Medical Assessments, QME's, and PQME's. Such cases have been in Public Hospitals and Private settings.
