Axway provides cyber security solutions for securing the flow of data including in the areas of identity managemen, file encryption, email security, and API gateway solutions. Responsible for Federal Operations. More than doubled revenue year-over-year in both FY 2010 and FY 2011. Recipient of Axway's "Phoenix Award" for FY 2011 (top business unit GM).

Initially responsible for all aspects of hiring, motivating, and managing Vitria’s North American sales including both commercial (USA, Canada, and Mexico) and Public Sector. Then took over Federal Operations.

Red Hat acquired MetaMatrix in April 2007. Was then appointed Director of Middleware Sales for North America. Hired and managed a team of 6 middleware sales executives with a combined quota of ~$50M.

Built MetaMatrix's Federal group which delivered the majority of the companies’ revenue. Lead MetaMatrix to be regarded as the Enterprise Information Integration (EII) market-leader in the Federal market.

Held a variety of positions including Acting Vice President North American Sales and Director, North American Sales. Was selected as the top sales person to work with the Board of Directors-appointed new management to formulate and implement a new global sales strategy. Built Tachyon’s Federal group and opened its first Federal accounts.

Started pre-IPO and was there through the acquisition by Sun. Consistent, top-ranked performer. Achieved 240% of quota in FY99 earning the #2 sales person of the year award. Managed some of Forte’s largest commercial end-user and OEM accounts.

Worked two time periods at Next--four years cumulative. Managed a variety of national accounts in Federal, Commercial, and Higher Education. Consistently ranked in the top 10% of revenue/quota achievement.

Started as a billable consultant and then successfully transitioned into sales working the US Army. Achieved 184% of combined quota in FY 1989, and 177% in FY 1990. Oracle’s top DoD District Manager in FY 1989.

Recruited from EDS as a Systems Analyst. Analyzed RFPs, wrote proposals, developed software, trained users, and supported customers. Promoted to Project Manager and as part of a 3-person team, helped win a multi-$100M program called US Army MICROS. This IDIQ contract grew SMS’ revenue from under $10M a year to approximately $100M per year. Was promoted to Director, New Business Development and managed the team responsible for winning systems integration contracts.
