Carried out research into sources of precious metals loss in Cookson’s melthouse, working with different teams within the company and presenting findings to a panel of academics and company staff. Conducted a literature review investigating different causes of loss during casting of precious metals. Collated and analysed data from different departments using Microsoft Excel and MATLAB. Presented the results of the investigation to a panel of company staff and academics, and wrote a technical report detailing the results.
