Rotational Program with the following rotations:1) Predix Data Services: Developed customer facing Java SDK for Predix’s pub/sub service (Event Hub) which drastically increased Event Hub adoption because the SDK abstracted new technologies like GRPC and protocol buffers from the user. The SDK also had features like thread safety and auto-reconnect with exponential backoff.2) Predix New Technologies: Developed and led design of services which powers a knowledge graph with event based interactions for industrial assets. The graph maps assets to skills which can be acted on by the lambda engine. Graph models are generalized and can be sync between local devices and the cloud3) GE Current: Developed backend services and database models for building energy management application that model, track and control asset’s energy usage. Pushed for better Git practices, CI/CD and microservice architecture4) Predix Application: Designed and built the frontend of a search application within the Asset Performance Management (APM) product for customers to browse work order history with features including search, suggestions, and faceted browsing which were all delivered for GA releaseSpecial Projects were projects done outside work hours with other program members for GE teams. Special Project (GE Healthcare): Built AWS Lambda function to generate 3D mask of medical images as part of a machine learning product pipeline Special Project (GE Oil & Gas): Built a proof-of-concept application that could search and categorize pipeline work orders which was demoed to an external customer and added to the Intelligent Pipeline Solution productSpecial Project (Function-as-a-Service): Led a team of 7 DTLPs as the project manager to deliver a POC Function-as-a-service which delivered faster and more flexible event processing for the APM Alerts service

Worked on NodeJS related frontend and backend. Improved, fixed and designed new aspect of the product while balancing customer needs, wants and a tight time frame.

Worked on frontend and backend with Python, PHP, and other web development tools and languages. Wrote many user interfaces with the SQL backend for internal use which not only simplifies the workflow but sped up the work flow from a whole day to under an hour. (Update Dec 2013: Although company has been bought, my interface is still being used and has been a great benefit to the company)

Work on biomimetic research on conducting polymers. Experimented different methods of synthesis and different monomers including thiophene, aniline and polypyrrole. Most methods were developed on ITO slides and synthesized with cyclic voltammetry. My mentor was Dr. John Hardy.
