Prosecutes auto theft related cases including cases involving theft of motor vehicles through a multi-county auto theft task force.

Conducted research and drafted opinions in family court matters including child custody, equitable distribution, spousal support, and child support. Prepared bench memoranda and draft orders for motions.

Temporary appointment as Assistant District Attorney. Conducted preliminary hearings before Bucks County Magisterial District Justices. Prosecuted contempt of court hearings for non-payment of child support. Managed appeals of summary convictions before the Court of Common Pleas.

Successfully prosecuted and managed over 40 Misdemeanor cases in the DUI Court of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas including two Bench Trials, a Motion to Suppress Evidence and a Rule 600 Hearing. Conducted appeals of Summary Offenses, Gagnon violations and Indirect Criminal Contempt hearings. Researched and wrote legal memoranda and assisted in trial preparation, including the successful admission of wiretap recordings. Reviewed and updated the office’s Motion to Suppress manual to include a section on the defendant’s burden of establishing a legitimate expectation of privacy.

Conducted preliminary hearings for non-assigned felony and misdemeanor cases. Reviewed cases for accurate and appropriate charging.

Managed approximately 100 new workers’ compensation cases on a weekly basis. Coordinated with Insurance Adjusters and Case Managers to ensure that injured workers received the appropriate treatment and returned to work as soon as possible.

Coordinated with the Executive Director and Chairman in managing the day-to-day operation of the County Party. Assisted local elected officials and municipal Republican leaders in coordinating all political efforts.

Aided in the development and management of all aspects of campaign’s grassroots strategy. Efforts resulted in the recruitment of over 400 volunteers who were used to contact 200,000 voters throughout the campaign, including over 80,000 during the final four days of the election. The operation was described by many as the most effective grassroots operation in Pennsylvania during the 2010 election cycle.
