Performed concept studies and preliminary and detailed designs for cGMP facilities within the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry handling potent compounds, oral solid dosage and liquid dosage forms, biologics, sterile filling, bulk powders, combustible dusts, packaging.Developed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s), utility flow diagrams (UFD’s), and process flow diagrams (PFD’s). Developed facility layouts.Other tasks included: procurement, cost estimates, write equipment specifications, equipment and piping sizing.

Evaluated the actual capacity of the plant, calculated cycles of operation, and performed statistical analyses (SPC, Six Sigma) of the production.  Helped with the daily mass balances and revision of standard operating procedures (SOP’s), manufacturing batch records (MBR’s) and P&ID’s.
